Operations Executive – Maldives

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Managing flight supervision and ground supervision at the airport.
  • Handling fueling services for all the flights.
  • Coordinating with catering services in the airport.
  • Managing the accommodation for crew of various airlines.
  • Managing group booking and charter services when required.
  • Coordinating with the civil aviation authorities as required for smooth operations.
  • Handling ancillary service inquiries such as excess baggage/wheelchair requests etc.
  • Supporting functions related to business development.
 

Qualifications and experience:

  • Fully completed Diploma or Degree in Aviation Management or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in airport operations or a similar role within the aviation industry.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and the local language.
  • Proficiency in IT literacy (MS Office).
  • Total flexibility to work 5.5 days per week, across Monday to Saturday.
 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, flight supervision and coordination.
  • Proficient in using airport management systems, flight scheduling software, and other relevant tools.
  • Be skilled in interpersonal communications, leadership, delegation, collaboration, critical-thinking, and problem solving.
  • Strong client management skills and negotiation skills.
